Our Fourth...

We got to have a long Fourth of July weekend. On Thursday night my sister Jenny came up to Pocatello from Wyoming to visit for the weekend. It was great seeing her, it's the first time she's gotten to visit since before we bought our house. On Friday we went out to Craters of the Moon and spent the day there. Pretty much the only time I remembered to bring the camera... so most of the pics are from then. :)

There was a nice Ranger out there that gave us a guided tour of one of the trails down to the caves. This is us right in one of the caves. The Ranger got us there and then left us to explore. We decided to take the long way out of the cave which consisted of a small opening to get out.

After the caves we went to all the other trails... I'm a wimp and needed a break at the top of one of the mountains.. so of course we took a pic or two by a cool tree.

Sorry for the gushiness.. but we love eachother, and it was one of the only pics with Dustin in it that.. well.. I didn't look as bad in. :)

Saturday some people in our ward invited us to a BBQ with them, it hailed and rained a little, but spending time with them was a lot of fun. Afterward we all went to the park by our house and lit off our own little fireworks, and then watched the town's firework show.

Sunday Dustin's mom invited us out to her place and have a BBQ and light off some more fireworks. They can usually light off whatever they want out in the middle of nowhere.. apparantly they got a new neighbor though who called the cops on us and our show got cut short just before the finale. I guess we'll have a great show for the 24th celebration!! :)

It was a great weekend.. TIRING.. but great. We're so glad that we have so many people who love us and care, and also for the brave men that enabled us to live in a free country!
